Announcing Uber: A Responsive Business and Portfolio Theme

Posted by on Jan 20, 2012 in Blog | 14 Comments

I’m very excited to announce the launch of our first theme in 2012. Uber is a responsive business and portfolio theme for freelance designers, photographers, or design firms. Your work will look amazing in the portfolio section which includes smooth filtering animations. And for the home page there’s an option for a full screen background that’s synchronized with the slideshow. Check out all of Uber’s features and view the live demo.

Is it possible to customize the css? For example i would like to remove the margins between the header, content and footer.

Yes, you have access to all of the CSS to make any kind of change you would like. There is also a Custom CSS field in the theme options for small changes.

Nice theme, clean and excellent layout. Is there an option to disable the changing background?

    Thanks

Just used it for my wife’s art portfolio site http://clayanimalsculptures.co.uk. Stripped back the design slightly with some custom CSS as she wanted a very minimalist look, but it was easy to set up and pretty much does everything we want straight out of the box (which makes me very happy). The built-in slideshow shortcode (what a time saver), portfolio category sliders and responsive capability were the key features that sold it to us. More like this please!

Yes, you can do that by changing the publish date of the projects.

It is. Depending on which one you use, you many need to make some minor CSS changes.

I’m interested in the Uber theme for my website. Is it possible to change the ‘recent posts’ sections to other content, like video, or a preview to another page rather than blog posts? Thanks.
