We have just released a new theme called Trail. It’s a multi-purpose portfolio theme with a focus on big images and beautiful typography. It features a full screen vertically scrolling parallax home page. With Trail we’ve started a new approach to the way we build themes. We’re breaking out all of the shortcode functionality and moving it to a plugin. This will allow for easier bug fixes and enhancements.
We’ve also done away with our theme options panel, moving all options to the built-in theme customizer. This is a change the just made sense. The customizer is there, so why not use it. And it is just cool seeing your changes take effect in real time.
